Cason Lane, owner of Cason Lane Strategic Communications, is an award-winning strategist, writer and consultant with more than 20 years of experience in internal and external business communications. He started his company in 2007 in San Diego, California, after spending eight years managing employee communications at Jack in the Box. Previously, he managed patient communications at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston; he worked in public information at Houston Community College System; and he was a journalist in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

At Cason Lane Strategic Communications, Cason and his team combine strategic thinking and creative thinking to drive business results. His work has earned more than 20 awards from IABC, the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, and the Public Relations Society of America. He received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Texas Christian University.
